Ellesmere English & Field Hockey Summer Camp 2026: The Ultimate British Experience

Set on a stunning, Hogwarts-style campus surrounded by lakes and green parkland, our Ellesmere English & Field Hockey Camp combines top-level hockey training with total English immersion. It’s the perfect summer adventure for young players who want to improve their game and their language skills — all within a safe, inspiring environment where tradition meets creativity and every day brings new challenges.

Each morning, campers take part in three hours of professional hockey training led by qualified coaches from our partner club. Over five exciting days, they’ll develop their skills, tactics, and teamwork — entirely in English — before finishing the week with a friendly match against the club’s Under-17 professional team. After Let’s Go Native’s victory in 2025, our team will be returning to defend the title in summer 2026 — and every player can be part of the story! All levels are welcome — our coaches adapt to every ability while keeping the sessions motivating, supportive, and fun.

Outside the field, campers join the full English immersion experience: creative projects using iPads, drones, and recording gear; team challenges; sports and evening games; and a vibrant international community that brings English to life.

Beyond the campus, unforgettable excursions await — from a day at one of Europe’s biggest theme parks and a visit to Manchester City Football Club, to shopping trips, swimming, bowling, and evenings full of laughter and new friendships.

Language camp programme:

Discover an unforgettable English summer adventure! Hosted on a safe, prestigious campus with top-tier facilities, our Ellesmere English Camp offers the perfect balance of immersive learning, exciting activities, and a warm, family-style atmosphere. Campers enjoy their own ensuite bedrooms, with girls and boys accommodated separately and our team interspersed throughout the corridors for constant support and supervision. Each day begins around 8 a.m. and finishes around 10 p.m., with plenty of rest, structure, and fun built in. All meals are taken together, with a staff member seated at every table — ensuring conversation, laughter, and great English practice at every mealtime. During free time, students can relax in our common rooms — both indoors and outdoors — equipped with ping-pong tables, games, and even a PS5. Whether your child loves sports, creativity, or simply making new international friends, they’ll find something to love every single day. A typical week includes: Daily English sessions and creative language projects Sports activities led by native English-speaking instructors Swimming trip Excursions to top attractions such as Alton Towers and Europe’s largest outlet mall Visit to Manchester City Football Club (Ellesmere) Bowling and evening entertainment Documentary filmmaking & creative challenges Themed nights and the legendary final party 🎉 And so much more!

English Course at the camp

At Let's Go Native, we offer a uniquely blended, activity-based learning course that ignites a passion for English in every student, regardless of their level. From complete beginners to bilingual speakers, each child is immersed in an engaging environment that encourages real-world language use in a fun and natural way. Our innovative approach includes a personalized level assessment for each student, helping us form groups that suit their abilities when needed. But beyond traditional grouping, our mixed-level projects create a collaborative setting where students of all backgrounds can thrive together. Drawing on pioneering methodologies such as Montessori and experiential learning, our focus is on building confidence, critical thinking, teamwork, and essential life skills. We design projects that captivate young minds, letting them experience the language beyond classroom walls. The entire camp environment is designed to be immersive, engaging, and far from the conventional “classroom.” Students interact in English throughout the day in ways that feel natural and exciting, with grammar and vocabulary embedded as part of each hands-on activity. Our expert team brings the curriculum to life, providing the right blend of support and challenge, so every child leaves speaking more English and feeling more confident than when they arrived.

Registration and Cancellation:

At Let's Go Native, we understand that sometimes plans need to change. To accommodate this, we offer a fair and transparent cancellation policy for our camps. Upon registration, a €200 deposit is required to secure your child’s spot in our English camps. This deposit is crucial for our planning and organization, ensuring we can deliver the best experience for every camper. As the camp date approaches, we will reach out for the remaining balance and any applicable transport fees. While we aim to be as flexible as possible, the deposit is non-refundable if we cannot fill your child’s place at the camp. In terms of the balance, it is fully refundable where possible. However, if cancellation occurs within two weeks of the camp start date and we are unable to fill the vacated spot, we will issue a credit note for a future camp instead of a refund. This credit note will provide you with the flexibility to book another enriching experience with us at a more convenient time. We appreciate your understanding and are committed to working with you to ensure the best possible outcome in case of unforeseen changes to your plans.
