What are Let's Go Native English camps?

Let's Go Native runs residential English immersion camps for young people aged 10–17 in Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany and England. For a week (ten days at our England camps) campers live, learn and play in English with our native English-speaking team.

Every day mixes English lessons or projects with sport, outdoor adventures, excursions and evening activities. The goal: real progress in spoken English, more self-confidence and friends from all over Europe. We run camps in the winter (Carnival), spring, summer and autumn school holidays.

Which ages are the camps for?

Our camps are for young people aged 10 to 17. Our England camps (UK Classics, UK Football and UK Hockey) are for ages 12 to 17.

Campers are grouped by age and English level, so younger children and older teenagers each get lessons and activities that suit them. Not sure which camp is right for your child? Get in touch and we'll happily advise.

Where are your English camps in 2027?

Winter: Active Winter in Goirle (Netherlands) during the February Carnival holiday.

Spring: Project Primavera in Salamanca (Spain), Spring Adventure in Ypres and Spring Adrenaline in Aalst (Belgium).

Summer: Project Sunshine (Salamanca), Project Adrenaline (Aalst), Project UK Classics, UK Football and UK Hockey (England), Project Castle (near Antwerp), Project Active (Goirle), Project Wild (Westelbeers) and Project Final Forest (Eifel, Germany).

Autumn: Autumn Adventure in Ypres. The exact dates of every camp are on the cards above.

Question 4

What level of English does my child need?

No particular level – beginners and fluent speakers all join us. Before camp your child can take our online level test so we can place them in the right group.

We offer two ways of learning. General English strengthens grammar and vocabulary and is ideal if school grades need a boost. Project English suits pre-intermediate learners and above, who use their English to make films, multimedia and team projects. Both are taught by native English speakers and are far more lively than a school lesson.

What does a day at camp look like?

Mornings are for English: lessons or projects in small groups, with plenty of speaking. Afternoons are for activities, which depend on the camp – think climbing, raft building, quad biking, paddleboarding, padel, swimming, football or excursions to nearby cities.

Evenings bring games, themed nights, campfires and BBQs. English is the language of the whole day, so campers keep practising naturally from breakfast to lights out.

How do campers travel to camp?

For most camps we organise group travel from pickup points such as Paris, Lille, Brussels and Utrecht, and for our camps in Spain we offer travel support from Madrid, Porto and Germany. The pickup points and transport fee for each camp are shown when you register.

You are also welcome to drop off and collect your child at the camp yourself. Campers only need a valid ID card or passport – we take care of the rest.

Are the camps safe and supervised?

Safety comes first at every Let's Go Native camp. Our team stays on site with the campers and looks after them from arrival to departure, day and night.

We get to know every teenager personally, and our team is always there to answer your questions before and during camp. Many families come back year after year, and our 5-star reviews on Google and Trustpilot show the trust parents place in us.

How much does an English camp cost?

Prices depend on the camp and are shown on each card above and on the camp pages; promotions are shown there too. Transport from a pickup point is optional and priced separately.

We work hard to keep our camps affordable without compromising on quality, and payment plans are available if you prefer to pay in instalments.

Question 9

How do I book and what deposit is needed?

Choose a camp, click "More info" and register online. A €200 deposit at registration secures your child's place. We contact you closer to the camp for the balance and any transport fee.

The deposit is fully refundable unless we cannot fill your child's place. You can read our full cancellation policy on our website.

Question 10

Can my child stay for more than one week?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Several of our summer camps follow on from each other, so campers can combine two weeks – for example Project Castle with Project Active, or Project Active with Project Wild. The cards above show which camps can be combined.

Lots of campers also come back for a different season, from Carnival in Goirle to summer in England or Spain.

Are the camps suitable if my child finds school difficult?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many teenagers who struggle at school, including those with ADHD, ADD or dyslexia, really thrive at our camps. We use active, hands-on teaching and give every camper individual attention, so they can progress at their own pace and build confidence.
